Is Ur system running slow??

Just perform the below steps and make ur pc running a lot better...

1.msconfig:
1.open RUN dialog box(start ->run or winkey + r)
2.type msconfig n press enter
3.u will come across a new window, there select startup tab
4.uncheck all the programs which are not in use(if u know).If u r not clear about this, just press the tab disableall and click on apply.
5.Restart ur pc.

2.Empty temp folder
1.Navigate to temp folder in ur C drive(mostly it wil be in the drive where OS is installed)
2.Clear all the data in that folder
or

open run dialog box and type %temp% ,press enter. It will directly navigate u to temperory folder. u just delete all the content in the folder.

3.Disk Defragmentation:

1.Right clik on my computer icon and select manage.
2.expand the storage option there u will find disk defragmentation,select this option.
3.In the right side window u can see the option defragmentation.peform this drive by drive.

OR

start->all programs->accessories->systemtools->diskdefragmentation

4.Delete prefetch folder
start->run->type prefetch
delete all the content in that folder.

5.Increase the virtual memory
start - my computer - properties - advanced - performance - settings - advanced - change -
change according to ur need.do not exceed the given max limit.

6. uninstall recently installed s/w
If the system speed doesn't increase, then it might be due to the recently installed softwares.
